Standard length friction grip (FG) round burs are suitable for removing bone, creating access openings, drilling holes and crown reduction in small teeth.
Friction grip (FG) burs are typically used in high-speed handpieces. iM3 recommends disposing of burs between each patient or if they become dull during long procedures, to reduce turbine wear on the high-speed handpiece. These burs are intended for single use, and the cost should be factored into each procedure.
