For controlled removal of gingival tissue to restore normal sulcus depth in cases of gingival hyperplasia. Ideal for gentle contouring to reshape the gingival margin. Rounded tips work best around the labial, buccal and lingual surfaces of the tooth.
Friction grip (FG) burs are typically used in high-speed handpieces. iM3 recommends disposing of burs between each patient or if they become dull during long procedures, to reduce turbine wear on the high-speed handpiece.
