iM3 Advantage High Speed Handpiece
The Advantage LED High-Speed Handpiece (400,000 rpm) and swivel with built-in generator produces its own LED light. With a colour temperature of 5,500 K, it emits a radiation spectrum that closely replicates natural daylight.
The high colour rendering index (CRI 90) of the LED ensures a daylight-quality light that enables relaxed work and exceptional reproduction of natural colours with clear contrasts in the oral cavity. The Advantage minimises fatigue with its smooth 360° handpiece rotation on the coupling, lightweight construction, and slender design. Its unique design also allows users to replace components on-site with ease.

Electric Micromotor
The Evolution Range introduces the option of electric micromotors to iM3’s core line of veterinary dental units, marking a significant advancement for the industry. The optional built-in electric micromotor unlocks a broad spectrum of possibilities for advanced veterinary dentistry.
Veterinarians benefit from a European-made, high-torque motor that is compact, lightweight, and equipped with an LED light. Engineered for durability and quiet operation, this intelligent premium motor automatically stops when over-torqued, making it an ideal choice for expert veterinary dentists.
The ISO short coupling, also known as the E-Type connection, ensures compatibility with all conventional straight and contra-angle handpieces. It delivers high performance, reliable durability, and a broad speed range from 100 to 40,000 rpm. Optional contra-angle attachments include 1:1 and 1:5 speed-increasing ratios.
These high-quality, European-made contra angles, when paired with iM3’s electric motor, create a significantly shorter and noticeably lighter complete system. This design meets the highest ergonomic standards and helps prevent fatigue, even during extended procedures.
The integrated LED technology illuminates the treatment site with daylight-quality light. The long-lasting brushless drive reduces maintenance needs and service costs while extending the motor’s lifespan. Additionally, sensor-controlled drive technology ensures exceptionally quiet operation with minimal vibration.
iM3 Advantage Low Speed Handpieces
The classic air-only Advantage Low Speed Motor is an excellent choice for polishing and is ergonomically designed for enhanced user comfort. It is lighter and shorter than conventional low-speed motors, making it easier to handle during procedures.
The Advantage 4:1 reduction straight nose cone lowers the speed of the low-speed motor and is compatible with disposable prophy angles for polishing. Its unique design makes the nose cone shorter and lighter, while attaching prophy angles is as simple as a push-fit connection.
iM3 recommends Rock & Roll polishing angles (L7466). The 60° reciprocating 'back and forth' motion of the prophy cup prevents muzzle hair from becoming tangled and maintains continuous contact with the tooth surface. This action also minimises heat and friction while preventing prophy paste from splattering.
Compatible with the Straight Nose Cone (L6860 – sold separately), the iM3 Advantage Low Speed Motor is also ideal for rabbit dentistry.
Three-way Syringe
Capable of delivering an air blast, water spray, or a combined mist, the Evolution Range features a lightweight, ergonomic syringe with a quick-disconnect design for easy maintenance.
Built-in Scaler (Optional)
European-made piezo-ceramic scalers with integrated LED lighting are now available as an optional built-in feature on iM3 dental units, offering high-quality performance. Alternatively, external scalers can be connected via the dedicated coolant outlet and power board.
Autoclavable Suction
The automatic suction system includes suction tips, a handpiece, and smooth bore tubing that can be easily removed and autoclaved. Waste is collected in a conveniently accessible one-litre container with a replaceable filter. Thanks to iM3’s powerful compressor, suction and handpieces can operate simultaneously without any loss of performance.
Curing Light
The optional built-in curing light emits a dominant wavelength between 440 nm and 465 nm, with LED light output exceeding 1,400 mW/cm². It offers two curing modes: a fast 10-second setting and a slower 20-second setting.
Digital Screen
Evolution Range dental units equipped with electric micromotors also feature a new, user-friendly LCD screen for adjusting motor speed, direction, and torque. The screen additionally provides control over scaler power settings.
