Designed for aggressive bone cutting and shaping in oral and maxillofacial surgeries, including bone contouring, osteotomies, implant preparation, and apicoectomy.
Plain round right angle (RA) burs have a 22 mm long shank and a small notch at the end for locking the bur in place. These burs are commonly used in low speed contra-angles connected to electric micromotors or low speed air driven handpieces (20,000 - 30,000 rpm). Please note that these burs do not fit into iM3 high speed handpieces.
These burs are intended for single use, and the cost should be factored into each procedure.
All iM3 Burs are high-quality, European-made designed for precision and reliability. Each bur undergoes a rigorous, standardized cleaning process to ensure optimal hygiene and performance: first polished in a rotary bur polisher to remove residual particles and restore surface shine; then placed in an ultrasonic cleaning unit to eliminate any remaining debris; thoroughly rinsed with hot water over a designated wastewater sink; the cleaning solution is filtered to remove contaminants; and finally, the burs are carefully dried in an oven at 80 °C (176 °F) to ensure complete moisture removal. This multi-step procedure guarantees that every iM3 Bur is clean, polished, and ready for safe and effective use.
