Xcut fissure taper right angle (RA) burs have a 22mm long shank and a small notch at the end for locking the bur in place. These burs are suitable for sectioning teeth used in low speed handpieces.
iM3 recommends disposing of burs between each patient or if they become dull during long procedures. These burs are intended for single use, and the cost should be factored into each procedure.

Each bur undergoes a rigorous, standardized cleaning process to ensure optimal hygiene and performance: first polished in a rotary bur polisher to remove residual particles and restore surface shine; then placed in an ultrasonic cleaning unit to eliminate any remaining debris; thoroughly rinsed with hot water over a designated wastewater sink; the cleaning solution is filtered to remove contaminants; and finally, the burs are carefully dried in an oven at 80 °C (176 °F) to ensure complete moisture removal. This multi-step procedure guarantees that every iM3 Bur is clean, polished, and ready for safe and effective use.
