iM3 Sustainability
As everyone’s favourite frog once said ‘It’s not easy being green’ – however we can all take small steps to reduce our wastage and become more environmentally friendly. Here at iM3 we’re rethinking the way we package and produce our products, to reduce, reuse and recycle!⠀
Some of the steps we have taken so far are:⠀
- LED Lighting now in place in all iM3 buildings
- The Bamboo Toothbrush – fully biodegradable (including the packaging)
- Dental unit packaging – no plastic, all cardboard and recycled brown tape⠀
- Shredded cardboard for packing boxes
- Cardboard Packaging – we're actively changing as much packaging as possible to cardboard
- Biodegradable x-ray plate sheaths – these also comes in a cardboard box, not plastic
- Reusable and recyclable plastic for our dental mats and anaesthesia ties
- Autoclavable suction tips – these do not need to be discarded after one use
- We’ve stopped producing physical catalogue copies and have 100% moved to the electronic copy
